Berufsbezogene Beratung boomt mit der europäischen Initiative für Beratung in Beruf, Bildung und Beschäftigung.
Dies ist nicht nur positiv zu bewerten, sondern hat seine Ursache in Konzepten des aktivierenden Staates, die die Vermittlung von Erwerbslosen in Beschäftigung zu einer Frage des einzelnen Falls machen. Daneben werden Beratungsformen wie Supervision, Coaching, Mediation im Zusammenhang mit Beruf und Karriere wichtiger. Die Veranstaltung nimmt zunächst den Strukturwandel der Erwerbsarbeit auf, zum zweiten werden die veränderten Berufsverläufe reflektiert. Schließlich werden die einzelnen berufsbezogenen Beratungsformen hinsichtlich ihrer Geschichte und Konzeption gewürdigt.
