Die Veranstaltung wird während der ausgewiesene Veranstaltungszeiten als ZOOM-Meeting durchgeführt.
Das Projektseminar "Kognitive Systeme" beschäftigt sich den kognitiven Grundlagen der menschlichen Bewegungssteuerung und thematisiert diese im Kontext von technischen Systemen mit Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion. Hierfür werden aktuelle Forschungsfelder und Projekte zum Zusammenhang menschlicher Intelligenz und intelligenten technischen Systemen (u.a. ACT, ADAMAAS, AVIKOM, KogniCoach, Intelligent Coaching Space, CEEGE, Neurofeedbacktraining) differenziert betrachtet und kennengelernt, sowie die Einbindung der sogenannten ELSI (ethical, legal and social implications) bei der Entwicklung und dem Einsatz von kognitiven technischen Systemen erarbeitet. Neben dem Kennenlernen und der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit den Systemen werden experimentelle Zugänge zur Messung von Bewegungsrepräsentationen im Langzeitgedächtnis und Kurzzeitgedächtnis thematisiert und angewendet.

Die Studienleistung wird durch die Ausarbeitung zu einem im Kurs durchgeführten Experiment erbracht.
Die benotete und veranstaltungsübergreifende Modulprüfung (zusammen mit der Veranstaltung "Intelligente Bewegung") erfolgt durch eine mündliche Prüfung am Ende des Semesters. Das Prüfungsdatum wird frühzeitig zu Beginn des Semesters veröffentlicht.
