In diesem Seminar werden die Grundlagen der Repräsentation von Sprache im Gehirn vorgestellt. Nach einer Einführung in die funktionelle Neuroanatomie und Neurophysiologie sprachrelevanter Strukturen werden aktuelle Ergebnisse zum Zusammenhang von Gehirn und Sprache behandelt. Weiterhin werden die Grundlagen aphasischer und nicht-aphasischer Sprachstörungen vorgestellt und deren Symptomatik und Diagnostik anhand aktueller Studien erarbeitet.
