In dem Seminar werden wir gemeinsam verschiedene Aspekte internationaler Weiterbildung erarbeiten. Dabei wird es zunächst darum gehen, sich zunächst mit den unterschiedlichen Weiterbildungssystemen verschiedener Länder vertraut zu machen und relevante Akteure der internationalen Weiterbildung vorzustellen und genauer zu betrachten. Im weiteren Verlauf werden verschiedene theoretische Ansätze vorgestellt, die die internationale Debatte in der Weiterbildung geprägt haben. Eine kurze Einführung in einige forschungsmethodische Aspekte internationaler Erwachsenenbildungsforschung schließt den thematischen Input ab. Zum Schluss des Seminars sollen alle Studierenden einen guten Überblick über die Grundlagen internationaler Weiterbildung haben und das neu erworbene Wissen in einer eigenen kleinen Feldforschung in Gruppen praktisch vertiefen. Die Ergebnisse der Gruppenarbeit werden in der letzten Sitzung vorgestellt.
