Die Veranstaltung führt ein in das Studium der Rechtswissenschaft. Grundlegende Fragen zum Recht, zur Rechtswissenschaft und zur Methodik der Rechtsfindung werden aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven gestellt. Antworten auf diese Fragen sollen helfen, einerseits Strukturen des rechtswissenschaftlichen Studiums zu erarbeiten sowie andererseits einen Überblick zur Arbeitstechnik der Rechtswissenschaft zu vermitteln, deren Zweck nicht nur als bloßes „Handwerkzeug“ der Juristin / des Juristen begriffen werden kann, sondern darüber hinaus eine eigenständige Vernünftigkeit aufweist.
Die Veranstaltung wird begleitet durch die E-Learning-Plattform „Jurmoodle“; Informationen zum Anmeldeverfahren für „Jurmoodle“ werden in der ersten Vorlesung gegeben.
