(5) Phylogeny/evolution/relation to geological hisotry of the earth
(6) How to apply ecological and economical concepts to the microbial world
(7) Methods in microbial ecology 1 (molecular/in situ approaches vs cultivation)
(8) Methods in microbial ecology 2 (metagenomics)
