Der Arbeitsmarkt, als zentrale Institution moderner Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftsordnungen, prägt unser Leben maßgeblich. Die Arbeitsmarktsoziologie beschäftigt sich grundlegend mit den sozialen Determinanten bei der Erklärung von Arbeitsmarktprozessen. Dies umfasst sowohl den Zugang zum Arbeitsmarkt als auch die sozialen Folgen, die sich aus den Veränderungen von Arbeitsangebot und Arbeitsnachfrage für die Sozialstruktur einer Gesellschaft ergeben.
In diesem Seminar werden die zentralen Theorien und Erkenntnisse der ökonomischen und soziologischen Arbeitsmarktforschung vermittelt. Dies beinhaltet u. a. den Zusammenhang zwischen Bildung und der Positionierung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, die Risiken von Arbeitslosigkeit, die Rolle der Familie für Erwerbsentscheidungen oder die Auswirkungen von Arbeitsmarktreformen und betrieblichen Beschäftigungspolitiken auf Arbeitsplatzsicherheit und Erwerbseinkommen.
Als Kommunikationsplattform nutzen wir während der Seminarzeiten Zoom. Der Link zur aktuellen Seminarsitzung ist im LernraumPlus unter "Allgemeines" einzusehen.
