230702 Englisch: English Pre-Intermediate, A2.1 (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Contents, comment

The A2 Pre-Intermediate English class is an intensive course covering all the grammar and adequate vocabulary that you need to be able to speak fluently.
It covers a wide range of interesting subjects, such as media, society and the family, health, science, work and industry, the environment, and global affairs.
The grammar starts with absolute basics, such as sentence order, but will bring you up to the B1 level at the least.
Learning to speak English with the right tenses and the proper sentence construction can be fun!

There will also be vocabulary quizzes. In some lessons we will discuss vocabulary relating to a topic such as film/music before discussing that topic. The next week, you may write a test about vocabulary.

A bit about me!

My name is Matt Salter and we will spend the first two sessions getting to know each other. I like to teach task-based lessons, allowing you to work in teams and practice your grammar/language using realistic scenarios. It is really important to me that you feel comfortable in the classroom. Making mistakes is completely normal but learning from them is important. As I try to speak other languages, I know how you feel, so we can help eachother to become better learners!
You’ll get to know more about me during the first two sessions!
