  • Vermittlung eines anwendungsorientierten Einblicks in verschiedene, für den Studiengang „Health Communication“ relevante, biomedizinische, (human-) ökologische und biologisch-toxikologische Fragestellungen
  • exemplarisch und praxisorientiert Verständnis für die Ausprägung von Einflussfaktoren auf Gesundheit und Krankheit vermitteln, die medizinisch, biologisch, ökologisch und raumwissenschaftlich erklärt werden können

Lernziele "Biomedizinische Grundlagen":

  • medizinischen Wissensbereich überblicken
  • Denk- und Handlungsmuster in der medizinischen Versorgung und Forschung verstehen und beherrschen
  • Schnittstellen der krankheitsorientierten Medizinperspektive zu gesundheitsadressierten Sichtweisen erkennen und weiterentwickeln
  • medizinisches Wissen im Hinblick auf gesundheits-orientierte Fragestellungen anwenden und kommunizieren

Lernziele "Umwelt und Gesundheit":

  • Bewertungsstrategien von Gesundheitsserviceleistungen der Umwelt kennenlernen
  • Erlernen der Risikocharakterisierung und -abschätzung von physikalischen, chemischen und biologischen Wirkungsprozessen in den Umweltmedien
  • Prioritäten und Handlungsoptionen auf Basis von Risikoanalysen und -bewertungen erarbeiten
  • Bewertung der Medien bzgl. Umwelt-, Gesundheits- und Risikokommunikation
