„Die Digitalisierung ist weiblich“ kommentierte Frau Nicola Beer, Generalsekretärin und Landtagsabgeordnete FDP (https://causa.tagesspiegel.de/gesellschaft/was-frauen-fordern-unser-deutschland-in-10-jahren/digitalisierung-ist-weiblichnbsp.html). Ähnliche Aussagen finden sich auch in Zeitschriften wie dem Human Resources Manager (Köppel 2017). Doch halten diese Aussagen auch wissenschaftlicher Forschung stand? Im Rahmen dieses Seminars werden Chancen und Risiken der Digitalisierung für geschlechtsspezifische Ungleichheitsregime diskutiert und anhand empirischer Forschung in den Themenfeldern Digitalisierung und Beschäftigung, Digitalisierung und örtliche und zeitliche Flexibilität, Ingenieur und Energiewende, sowie Social Media in der Arbeitswelt beleuchtet. Das Seminar beinhaltet Gastvorträge von Expertinnen in den Themenfeldern (jede zweite Woche), die im Rahmen des Seminars vor und nachbereitet werden.
