Im Rahmen der Methodenausbildung an der Fakultät für Soziologie können Sie nach einem Überblick über Methoden der qualitativen Sozialforschung (Vorlesung Qualitative Methoden I und II) einzelne Methodenkenntnisse vertiefen und die praktische Anwendung von einzelnen Methoden üben.
Die Veranstaltung bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, einzelne Arbeitsschritte sozialwissenschaftlicher Diskursanalysen näher kennenzulernen. Dazu werden wir uns ein Beispiel für Diskursanalysen genauer anschauen. Die dort angestellten Beobachtungen versuchen wir dann auf andere Materialien zu übertragen, um auf diese Weise mehr über das Handwerkszeug, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen, einer Diskursanalyse herauszufinden.
Den thematischen Ausgangspunkt bildet eine diskursanalytische Studie zum Wandel kapitalistischer Subjektformen. Anschließend versuchen wir diese Beobachtungen dann auf biografische und autobiografische Texte zu übertragen. Im Fokus sollen dabei argumentative Zusammenhänge stehen.
