300191 Models in Microeconomic Theory (a selection from Osborne and Rubinstein 2020) (S) (WiSe 2020/2021)

Contents, comment

This seminar should be of interest, first of all, to everyone with a bent for theorybuilding, and second, for those of you who deal with questions of economics and do not dare to skip, what economists know about their subject, and might perhaps like to share their doubts and scepticism. We will start with considering, what constitutes individual behavior and the economic agent, and then move forward to questions of equilibrium and strategic interaction. We should read more or less the first 16 Chapters from Martin Osborne´s and Ariel Rubinstein´s new book „Models in Microeconomics Theory“, which you can download from Ariel Rubinstein´s webpage or from openbookpublishers for free.
