230124 Einführung in die Allgemeine Literaturwissenschaft (S) (SoSe 2010)

Diese für alle Master-Studierenden der Literaturwissenschaft verpflichtende Einführungsveranstaltung führt in das Profil des Fachs ein und setzt dabei den systematischen Schwerpunkt auf die Fragen danach, was Literatur ist und was die Wissenschaft von ihr zu leisten hat. Dazu werden grundlegende Theorietexte (Schleiermacher, Freud, Sartre, Iser, Barthes u.a.) erarbeitet. Der historische Schwerpunkt wird auf der Zeit um 1800 und dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert liegen. Eine vorbereitende Lektüre von Kleists ‚Homburg‘, ‚Penthesilea‘, 'Über das Marionettentheater' und ‚Die Verlobung in St. Domingo‘ sowie von Hoffmanns ‚Der Sandmann‘ ist sehr zu empfehlen.
