230104 Emotionstheorien im literaturwissenschaftlichen Kontext (S) (SoSe 2010)

Das Seminar untersucht die Bedeutung der Emotionsforschung für die Literaturwissenschaft. Hierzu werden klassische Emotionstheorien (Aristoteles, Descartes, Nietzsche), psychoanalytische (Freud), hermeneutisch-philosophische (Heidegger) sowie soziologische, kognitionspsychologische und filmwissenschaftliche Emotionstheorien besprochen. Ziel des Seminars ist es, die Bedeutung verschiedener Emotionsdefinitionen für die literaturwissenschaftliche Arbeit auszuwerten und die emotionalen Eindrücke, die die Auseinandersetzung mit Kunst prägen, begrifflich zu konkretisieren, um sie in die literaturwissenschaftliche Analyse zu integrieren.

In der ersten Sitzung wird ein Reader mit allen zu besprechenden Texten bereitgestellt.

Für die aktive Teilnahme (2 LP) soll in einem kurzen Essay (3-4 Seiten, Abgabe bis Ende der Vorlesungszeit) oder in einem Kurzreferat (10-15 Min.) eine der besprochenen Emotionstheorien auf ein frei wählbares literarisches oder filmisches Beispiel angewendet werden. Zusätzlich kann eine benotete Einzelleistung (+ 2 LP) in Form einer Hausarbeit, einer mündlichen Prüfung oder eines ausführlichen Referats erbracht werden.
