This is how individuals and collectives develop their beliefs, values and attitudes towards political and social objects and processes. Different forces are involved in socialisation process. Second, the influence of some aspects at the individual level have to be checked, such as genetic heritability, personality, developmental stages, life cycle and motivation. Third, the relation between historical and social processes and socialisation has to be discussed in order to explain the emergency of certain phenomena such as intergroup conflict, mass movements, collective actions and political generations.
