Die Veranstaltung thematisiert Zentralfragen und Schwerpunke der Verfassungsgeschichte seit 1918, namentlich
- Entstehung und Verfassung der Weimarer Republik,
- Das Scheitern der Republik,
- Die nationalsozialistische Staatsordnung,
- Entstehung der deutschen Zweistaatigkeit und des Grundgesetzes,
- Verfassungsentwicklung der „alten“ Bundesrepublik.Die Veranstaltung bietet die Möglichkeit zum Erwerb eines sogenannten „großen Grundlagenscheins“ durch eine Hausarbeit.
