In diesem Kurs werden didaktische und methodische Aspekte zu dem Thema "Physiologie: Struktur- Funktion –Wechselwirkung" in Hinblick auf ihre Bedeutung für den Biologieunterricht in der Jahrgangsstufe 11 bzw. 10 (nach G8) erarbeitet. Die inhaltliche Festlegung der Kurse orientiert sich an dem jeweils gültigen Lehrplan für die Jahrgangsstufe 11 bzw. 10 (nach G8). Somit finden unterschiedliche Schwerpunktssetzungen in den Stoffwechselkursen zum Wintersemester und Sommersemester statt. Zu einzelnen Themen werden Versuche, die in der Schule umsetzbar sind, von den Studierenden in Teams entwickelt und erprobt. Es werden verschiedene Herangehensweisen vorgestellt und diskutiert, der Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung liegt sicherlich in der fachlichen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema und in der richtlinienkonformen Umsetzung. Die entwickelten Experimente und erstellten Materialien werden den Schulen zugänglich gemacht. Daneben haben Klassen die Möglichkeit, an einem Termin im Semester die Experimente "hautnah" zu erleben.
