751014 Fotografie in der bildenden Kunst (S) (SoSe 2019)

Nachdem wir in den letzten beiden Semestern die Fotografie als eigenständige Kunstgattung näher betrachtet haben, soll nunmehr untersucht werden, wann, wo und welcher Art die Fotografie bzw. die fotografische Abbildung Eingang in die bildende Kunst des 20. und frühen 21. Jahrhunderts gefunden hat.
Es wird deutlich werden, daß Fotografie hier u.a.
- Teil eines größeren Ganzen,
- Anlaß, Grundlage oder Motiv,
- Material und Werkzeug konzeptueller Kunst wie auch
- Medium der Vermittlung bzw. Verwertung im Kontext bildender Kunst sein kann.Die Veranstaltung hat keinen Vorlesungscharakter. Stattdessen soll, nach jeweils einführenden Worten bzw. Vorträgen (auch der Studierenden!) in ergebnisoffenem Gespräch/Diskurs eine gemeinsame Annäherung an das jeweilige Thema versucht werden. Die Bereitschaft der Studierenden zur spontanen Beteiligung an diesen Erörterungen ist für eine solche Vorgehensweise essentiell.
