Das Seminar hat die Form eines Forschungsseminars und richtet sich vor alle an die Graduierten des Graduiertenkollegs „Weltgesellschaft – die Herstellung und Repräsentation von Globalität“. Es dient der Klärung theoretischer und methodischer Fragen und der Erarbeitung eines übergreifenden konzeptionellen Rahmens. Im Seminar werden Texte präsentiert, die im Zusammenhang mit den Dissertationsprojekten geschrieben wurden, und zusammen mit einschlägigen Sekundärtexten diskutiert.
