Das vorbereitende Element "Lehrerhandeln" thematisiert didaktische Modelle und Konzepte sowie Grundlagen der Unterrichtsplanung und -gestaltung. Im Seminar soll die eigene Professionalisierung zum Lehrer/zur Lehrerin reflektiert und ihre Weiterentwicklung geplant werden. In Gruppenarbeiten sollen relevante Handlungssituationen thematisiert und theoretisiert werden, um eine Vorbereitung auf das Praxissemester zu ermöglichen: "Es gibt nichts Praktischeres als eine gute Theorie!" (Kurt Lewin, geb. 1890 in Mogilno (Posen) in einer jüdischen Familie, war einer der berühmtesten Psychologen des 20.Jahrhunderts. Er war in den 1920er Jahren an der Berliner Universität als prominenter Psychologe tätig und musste 1933 vor den Nationalsozialisten in die USA emigrieren, um dort seine bahnbrechenden Arbeiten zur Motivation fortzusetzen).
