230309 Satire und Recht in der Vormoderne (S) (SoSe 2019)

Contents, comment

Seit der "Causa-Böhmermann" ist die rechtliche Dimension der Satire in der Gegenwart stark diskutiert worden. Das Seminar will im Kontrast dazu nach der Verbindung des Satirischen zum Recht in der Vormoderne fragen. Daher kommen als Analysegegenstand Satiren in Betracht, die einerseits das Recht thematisieren (z.B. der mhd. "Reinhart Fuchs") und andererseits rechtliche Konflikte (z.B. Liscows "Philippi-Fehde") auslösen.

Inhaltlich werden demnach Texte vom 12. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert exemplarisch besprochen, sodass die Bereitschaft aller Teilnehmer/innen vorausgesetzt wird, auch Texte, die in älteren deutschen Sprachstufen verfasst sind, im Original zu lesen.
