270137 Sozialpsychologische Perspektiven auf gesellschaftliche Phänomene (S) (SoSe 2019)

Die Veranstaltung thematisiert gesellschaftliche Phänomene aus der Sicht sozialpsychologischer Forschung. Es werden darin Themen behandelt wie Lügen bzw. Lügen erkennen, aggressives Verhalten gegenüber Andersdenkenden, interpersonale Auswirkungen von Achtsamkeits-Meditationen, Umweltverhalten, Fleischparadox, oder soziale Medien. Durch das Lesen von Primärliteratur werden darüber hinaus wissenschaftliche Methoden besprochen und diskutiert, mit denen man diesen Themen Evidenz-orientiert auf den Grund gehen kann. Zentral ist dabei zusätzlich die Diskussion der Anwendbarkeit von Forschungsergebnissen auf reale Probleme.

Requirements for participation, required level

Gute Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich, da die Literatur primär in englischer Sprache vorliegt.
Der erfolgreiche Abschluss des Moduls 27-G ist wünschenswert.

Spezifische Lektüre zu den einzelnen Sitzungen wird in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.

Für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten sind eine regelmäßige Präsenz in der Lehrveranstaltung sowie das Lesen der vorgegebenen Literatur erforderlich. Es wird zudem erwartet, dass alle TeilnehmerInnen in der Lage sind, sich an den Diskussionen über die Lektüre aktiv und regelmäßig zu beteiligen. Eine weitere Anforderung ist die aktive Mitgestaltung einer Sitzung (u. a. Präsentation, Diskussionsleitung, Entwicklung einer eigenen Fragestellung...).
