996012 PhD Working Group (Ko) (WiSe 2009/2010)

This working group is a thematically open space for the discussion of PhD research projects in history and sociology. The program will be fixed during the first meeting, proposals in advance are very welcome and should be sent by e-mail. Outlines of the projects (Exposés) will be circulated in advance and a short presentation will be given by the author, followed by a comment of another participant of different disciplinary background (historians comment sociologists and vice versa) and a group discussion.
The working group will be multi-lingual. The ideal situation is that each participant can speak his/her language, which all other participants can understand. In the case that this does not work English will be used as lingua franca.
