Im Seminar geht es zunächst um die begrifflich-konzeptionelle Klärung des Konzeptes „(pädagogische) Qualität“ im Spannungsfeld von theorie-systematischen und praktisch-programmatischen Bestimmungsversuchen. Für das Arbeitsfeld der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe werden sodann aus dem Bereich öffentlicher und freier Träger beispielhaft verschiedene Varianten und Umsetzungen des Konzeptes in Bezug auf unterschiedliche pädagogische Qualitätsprogramme (Qualitätsmanagement, Qualitätssicherung, Qualitätsentwicklung) verdeutlicht und diskutiert. Schließlich werden Ansätze zur Erforschung und Evaluation pädagogischer Qualität vorgestellt und bewertet.
