231034 Das Sokrates-Bild in der klassischen griechischen Literatur (S) (WiSe 2018/2019)

Wir möchten uns in dieser Veranstaltung mit den verschiedenen Facetten des Sokrates-Bildes befassen, das uns in Texten des 4. Jh. v. Chr. begegnet, die vornehmlich von Schülern des Sokrates verfasst sind, insbesondere dem „Protagoras“-Dialog aus Platons Frühwerk und den „Memorabilia“ des Xenophon. Je nach Interesse der Teilnehmer können auch Auszüge aus dem Werk anderer Autoren der klassischen griechischen Literatur berücksichtigt werden.
Teilnehmende anderer Fachrichtungen sind willkommen – da wir ausschließlich mit den griechischen Originaltexten arbeiten werden, sind allerdings Altgriechisch-Kenntnisse im Umfang des Graecums empfohlen.
Die entsprechenden Texte und Kommentare werden zu Vorlesungsbeginn als Kopiervorlage bzw. elektronisch zur Verfügung gestellt.
