Die Veranstaltung ist forschungsorientiert und vermittelt einen interdisziplinären Einblick wie Agenten, Roboter und Menschen in natürlicher Interaktion lernen. Die Veranstaltung findet auf Englisch statt. Die Vorlesung gibt zunächst einen kurzen Überblick über Entwicklungspsychologische Theorien, stellt dann entsprechende aktuelle Arbeiten der Robotik/ des Machine Learning vor und verbindet sie miteinander.
In den die Vorlesung begleitenden Übungen lernen die Studierenden, interdisziplinäre Texte in ihrer Struktur zu lesen und die angewandte Methode zu erfassen.The course is research-oriented and imparts interdisciplinary insights into how agents, robots and humans learn in natural interaction. The course will be held in English. The lecture will first give a brief overview over theories of developmental psychology, will then present relevant current work in robotics/machine learning and relate them to each other.
In the tutorials which accompany the lecture, students learn to read interdisciplinary texts in their structure and grasp the applied method.
