Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die Lektüre des satirischen Romans »Simplicissimus Teutsch« von Hans Jacob Christoffel von Grimmelshausen. Das Seminar widmet sich vor allem der (europäischen) Romantradition im 17. und frühen 18. Jahrhundert, dient aber zugleich als Einführung in die Literatur des Barocks überhaupt.

Textgrundlage: Hans Jacob Christoffel von Grimmelshausen, Simplicissimus Teutsch, hrsg. von Dieter Breuer, Frankfurt a.M. 2005. Weitere Texte werden im Lernraum zur Verfügung gestellt.

Das Seminar richtet sich primär an Studierende im Basismodul, B.A. Germanistik.
