In der Renaissance entdeckten die humanistischen Gelehrten die (römische) Antike für sich und produzierten zahlreiche Werke auf Latein mit deutlichem Bezug zu ihren antiken Vorbildern. Mit diesen Rezeptionsdokumenten und ihren Vorlagen wollen wir uns im Seminar beschäftigen und schauen, wie die Werke für sich und im Zusammenspiel funktionieren, welche Interpretationsmöglichkeiten von den Humanisten gewählt wurden, wie sie ihre Vorbilder gelesen haben und wie sich diese Lesart mit unserer vergleichen lassen kann.
