Ausgehend von der gleichnahmigen Studie von Vera King sollen im Seminar "Lust und Frust" dieser besonderen Lebensphase betrachtet werden. Die Bedeutung von Familie, Peer Group und Körper im Prozess des Erwachsenwerdens in modernisierten und brüchigen Gesellschaften werden diskutiert, um zu Hinweisen für eine Pädagogik zu kommen, die für Mädchen und Jungen akzeptabel ist und sie angemessen begleiten kann.
