Das Seminar ist thematisch auf den opferorientierten Zweig der kriminologischen Forschung („Viktimologie“) bezogen. Die einzelnen Themen erstrecken sich auf theoretisch-konzeptionelle, empirische sowie juristisch-rechtspolitische Aspekte (vgl. dazu gesonderter Aushang).
Die erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Seminar (Hausarbeit, Vortrag und Diskussion) wird mit einem Seminarschein bestätigt. Für Studierende der Rechtswissenschaft im SPB 8 und 9 wird eine Hausarbeit vergeben (limitierte Anzahl).
