Der Zusammenhang zwischen der sozialen Herkunft und dem Bildungserfolg ist in Deutschland besonders eng. In formaler Hinsicht besteht allerdings für alle Kinder die gleiche Chance, einen hochwertigen Bildungsabschluss zu erzielen. Im Seminar werden sowohl Studien vorgestellt, die die unterschiedlichen Dimensionen der Bildungsungleichheit belegen, als auch verschiedene theoretische Erklärungsansätze zur sozialen Ungleichheit erarbeitet. Das Spannungsfeld zwischen Gleichheit und Differenz wird dabei fortlaufend thematisiert. Unter einer didaktischen Perspektive werden Chancen und Grenzen eines Umgangs mit Heterogenität in der Schule gegenübergestellt.
Zu dieser Veranstaltung wird auch eine Vertiefung angeboten
