Das Schreiben einer BA- oder MA-Arbeit stellt spezifische Anforderungen an die Studierenden. Es werden Kenntnisse zum Aufbau einer solchen Arbeit, Kenntnisse zur Literaturrecherche und zum Anlegen des Literaturverzeichnisses und Kenntnisse zu vielen weiteren Teilbereichen benötigt. Im Mittelpunkt der Lehrveranstaltung steht neben der Vermittlung solcher Kenntnisse auch das Knowhow zum Anlegen und Auswerten empirischer Untersuchungen. Insgesamt gibt die Veranstaltung Hinweise dazu, wie man den "Roten Faden" beim Aufschreiben von wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen findet.

- erfolgreicher Besuch mindestens einer Vertiefungsveranstaltung im ABII "Neurokognition und Bewegung"
- Vorüberlegungen zu einer Abschlussarbeit, die thematisch den AB II zugeordnet werden kann
