Der Citavi-Workshop richtet sich Promovierende der BGHS, die die Möglichkeiten eines elektronischen Literaturverwaltungssystems optimal zur Unterstützung des eigenen Schreibprozesses nutzen möchten.
Im Workshop werden die Programmmöglichkeiten der Literaturrecherche, des Datenimports, der Wissensstrukturierung und der automatischen Verknüpfung zwischen Literaturverwaltung und Dissertationstext vorgestellt und praktisch mit Hilfe verschiedener Übungen erarbeitet. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt wird dabei auf dem Zusatzprogramm „Picker“ liegen, das den Import von Zitaten und Bildern aus HTML-Dateien, Word-Texten und PDF-Dokumenten unterstützt.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme am Seminar ist das Mitbringen eines eigenen Notebooks, auf das Citavi bereits heruntergeladen (Download der Free Version möglich unter: http://www.citavi.com/de/download/download_citavi_free.html) und ein Zugang zum Virtual Private Network der Universität Bielefeld eingerichtet wurde (Informationen und Anleitungen dazu unter: http://www.uni-bielefeld.de/hrz/vpn/).
