Die Research Class richtet sich an Promovierende des SFB 1288, "Praktiken des Vergleichens. Die Welt ordnen und verändern". Sie dient der Diskussion theoretischer Konzepte sowie der Vorstellung von Dissertationsprojekten. Interessentinnen und Interessenten außerhalb des Promovierendenkreises des SFB werden um vorherige Rücksprache mit den Veranstaltern gebeten.
