Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es für die Neugestaltung der Mathematikflure Poster zu entwerfen, die ästhetische Darstellungen von Mathematik mit verständlichen Erklärungen zu diesen verbinden. Solche Poster können Geschichte der Mathematik beinhalten (Mathematik anderer Kulturen, Rechenmaschinen und ihre Funktionsweisen, usw.) aber auch Anwendungen von Mathematik (Bauwerke, Darstellung von Problemen und Lösungen, usw.) oder was den Teilnehmern sonst noch einfällt. Es gibt einige konkrete Ideen, aber wir sind offen für weitere Ideen.
Am Ende der Veranstaltung sollen die Poster gedruckt, auf KAPA-Platten aufgezogen und in den Fluren angebracht werden (mit Verweis auf die jeweiligen Schöpfer, versteht sich).

Die Veranstaltung wird unterstützt vom Fachbereich Gestaltung der FH Bielefeld. Es handelt sich um eine interdisziplinäre Veranstaltung.
