Español II b es la continuación del curso Español II a. Está pensado para aquellos estudiantes de todas las facultades de esta Universidad que deseen tanto ampliar sus conocimientos gramaticales del español como desarrollar las habilidades básicas del lenguaje: escribir, hablar, escuchar, leer. Para participar en él se necesita contar con conocimientos básicos previos, los que ya se han logrado en los cursos anteriores.
Con este curso se pueden obtener cuatro créditos. Las condiciones para ello son: la asistencia regularmente a clases (80%), la participación activa de los integrantes y la realización de diferentes trabajos escritos.
