This class is part of BA Basic Module 3 and will be taught in English. It will offer a survey of British literature beginning with Elizabethan drama (William Shakespeare's /Hamlet/), moving on to Romantic poetry (late 18th and early 19th centuries) and ending with a contemporary novel (Hilary Mantel, Fludd; for details see below).
I strongly advise students to read Hamlet before term starts.
Students can get three credits points for active participation in class work and for passing the end-of-term written exam.
Please note: this course can only be done together with "Analysing and Interpreting Literary Texts", course no 230 527.
Teilnehmer: 60; alle BA-Studierende
