Im Rahmen des Praktikums werden experimentelle Arbeiten aus dem Bereich der funktionalen Genomanalyse durchgeführt. Dabei handelt es sich um Arbeiten mit mRNA (transcriptomics) und Proteinen (proteomics), jeweils vor dem Hintergrund vollständiger Genomsequenzen. Bei allen Arbeiten spielt auch die Anwendung von Bioinformatik-Software eine große Rolle, so dass ein Teil des Praktikums am Computer stattfindet. Die Arbeiten finden in kleinen Gruppen unter Anleitung statt und die Ergebnisse werden am Ende des Praktikums in Form von Vorträgen vorgestellt und diskutiert. Die Veranstaltung ist für StudentInnen der "Molekularen Biotechnologie (Diplom)" im Hauptstudium geeignet. [Lf: n; 50: n; Fs: n]
