Eine gute Kenntnis der Insektenfauna ist für viele biologische Fragen unerlässlich, auch und vor allem für ökologische und naturschutz-relevante Arbeiten - und Spezialisten sind für viele Tiergruppen äußerst rar gesät. Die biologische Sammlung gibt beste Gelegenheit, durch die intensive Beschäftigung mit heimischen oder exotischen Aufsammlungen breite entomologische Kenntnis zu erlangen, oder auch sich detailliert in die Systematik bestimmter Insektengruppen einzuarbeiten. Dabei sind eigenen Vorlieben nicht viele Grenzen gesetzt, Vorkenntnisse nicht erforderlich (wenn auch hilfreich). Leistungskontrolle: Protokoll
