Die Vorlesung bietet Studierenden der ersten Semester einen gedanklichen Leitfaden für das Studium der Rechtswissenschaft. Sie behandelt unter anderem die verschiedenen Perspektiven der wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Recht, die Besonderheiten des juristischen Denkens und die Bandbreite juristischer Tätigkeiten. Weitere Themen können aus dem Kreis der Teilnehmer angeregt werden.
