Die Veranstaltung wendet sich an Studierende des BA-Studiengangs "Didaktik der Mathematik" und kann nur in Verbindung mit dem Seminar "Praxis der Förderarbeit" belegt werden. Die Teilnehmer sollten die Veranstaltung "Didaktik der Arithmetik in der Grundschule" erfolgreich besucht haben. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 24 begrenzt, weil im Rahmen der Praxis der Förderarbeit insgesamt höchstens 12 Kinder mit Rechenstörungen von je zwei Studierenden gefördert werden sollen.
