Im Mittelpunkt dieser Vorlesung stehen die Konzepte der Physik, deren Zusammenhänge historisch eingeordnet werden. Dabei wird unser derzeitig bestehendes Weltbild der ?Modernen Physik? zurückgeführt auf die wesentlichen wissenschaftlichen Revolutionen:
? die Physik zu Zeiten der Griechen
? die wissenschaftliche Revolution des Denkens: die klassische Physik
? die erste moderne Revolution: die Relativität
? die zweite moderne Revolution: die Quantenmechanik
? das heutige Bild der Elementarteilchen
? Kosmologie und Universum
? die dritte, momentane Revolution: die NanotechnologieNatürlich wird die Vorlesung auch wieder unterstützt durch viele Experimente und audiovisuell mit Hilfe von PowerPoint gehalten.
