Um zu einem geeigneten Verständnis für die Methoden und Verfahren der Zellkulturtechnik tierischer Zellen und den medizinischen Einsatz ihrer Produkte zu gelangen, als Stichworte seien hier Wirkproteine, Stammzellkultivierung, künstliche Gewebe genannt, sind Grundkenntnisse in der menschliche Anatomie und Physiologie unerlässlich. Somit werden in dieser Vorlesung relevante Organsysteme behandelt und sowohl medizinische als auch biotechnologische Querverbindungen aufgezeigt.
