Womit können AbsolventInnen der Geschichtswissenschaften ihr Geld verdienen? Neben den klassischen Berufsfeldern wie Schule, Wissenschaft, Archiv, Museum, Bibliothek, Verlag und Journalismus werden PR und IT-Berufe, Verwaltung, Stiftungen, Wirtschaft, Erwachsenenbildung und Tourismus immer wichtiger. Die im Kernfach Geschichte verpflichtende Lehrveranstaltung führt in die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten ein. Dazu werden berufstätige HistorikerInnen vor Ort von Arbeitsgruppen interviewt und die Ergebnisse im Plenum ausgewertet. Zugleich werden weitere Angebote zur Berufsorientierung vorgestellt und die auf dem Arbeitsmarkt immer öfter gefragten kulturellen Schlüsselqualifikationen trainiert.
Die Veranstaltung findet zweimal parallel statt.

Teilnehmende sollten die Grundmodule absolviert haben.
