Diese Veranstaltung setzt das Hauptseminar aus dem Wintersemester "Philosophische Ursprünge der Ökonomie als Wissenschaft" chronologisch und inhaltlich fort, kann aber durchaus auch als eigenständige Veranstaltung belegt werden. Im Zentrum steht das Buch "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations" von Adam Smith, das nicht nur zu den Klassikern der Philosophiegeschichte zählt, sondern auch eine Grundlagenschrift der Ökonomie darstellt.
Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA-Studiengang) wird eine Hausarbeit im Umfang von ca. 10 Seiten, deren Fragestellung individuell abgesprochen wird, für
einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) eine Hausarbeit im Umfang von ca 16 - 20 Seiten, deren Fragestellung individuell abgesprochen wird, erwartet.

BA-Studiengang: Abschluss des ersten Studienjahres.
Magister- und Lehramts-Studiengänge: Zwischenprüfung.
Die Bereitschaft, sich durch intensive Lektüre auf die Sitzungen vorzubereiten und ein Kurzreferat zu übernehmen.
Bibliography

Die Anschaffung einer möglichst vollständigen, englischsprachigen Ausgabe des Buches von Smith wird empfohlen.
