In diesem Kurs soll die Abfassung selbstständiger, also nicht nur interpretierender philosophischer Texte geübt werden. Die Teilnehmer wählen sich eine Sachfrage aus dem Bereich der Moralphilosophie und begründen eine Antwort darauf, möglicherweise in Auseinandersetzung mit einem Beitrag aus der Literatur, in Texten von ungefähr drei Seiten Länge. Diese Texte werden im Detail besprochen und dann überarbeitet, so lange, bis ein befriedigender Text zu Stande gekommen ist.
Treffen aller Teilnehmer finden nur bei Bedarf statt. Zum größten Teil besteht dieser Kurs in individueller Beratung und Kritik.
Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA-Studiengang) werden drei fertige Arbeiten, für einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) drei fertige Arbeiten erwartet.
