Anhand zeitgenössischer Texte untersucht das Seminar zum einen, wie und mit welchen Erfolgsaussichten Ethik auf Natur, etwa auf die Natur des Menschen oder auf seine Stellung in der größeren Natur, gegründet werden kann. Es untersucht zum anderen, welche ethischen Anforderungen es an das Verhalten des Menschen gegenüber der Natur gibt und wie sie sich begründen lassen.
Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA-Studiengang) werden zwei kleinere Leistungen (ausgearbeiteter Diskussionsbeitrag, Protokoll, mündliche Prüfung etc.), für einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) wird eine Hausarbeit erwartet.

Magister- und Lehramts-Studiengänge: Zwischenprüfung.
