Das Seminars führt in aktuelle und zentrale Konzepte der Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung ein. Zentrale Themenfelder sind: Analyse von Geschlechterverhältnissen und Gesellschaftstheorien der Moderne; Geschlechterklassifikation als kulturelles Konstrukt und Element der symbolischen Ordnung; die Institutionalisierungen und Organisationsformen moderner Geschlechterverhältnisse; ?Geschlecht und Identität?; ?Geschlecht' als sozial differenzierender und Ungleichheit erzeugender Faktor.
