In this colloquium, invited speakers from within and from outside of the University of Bielefeld present recent findings from their research in the field of politics, including the political anthropology, transnational and migration studies as well as (ethno)sociological research on social inclusion/exclusion and coping with situations of informality. This colloquium is especially geared towards the students who have already attended courses in the sociology of development and of social anthropology, towards doctoral students as well as the staff of the WE VIII.
