In diesem Seminar wird der Sportunterricht in der Sekundarstufe (vorwiegend Sek. II) thematisiert. In einem ersten Teil soll zunächst von den eigenen Erfahrungen der Teilnehmer mit mehr oder weniger oberstufengemäßen Unterricht ausgegangen werden, um vor diesem Hintergrund zu diskutieren, welchen Beitrag das Fach Sport zur Allgemeinen Hochschulreife und Studierfähigkeit geleistet hat bzw. leisten kann. Hierzu wird verstärkt der aktuelle Lehrplan Sport für die Gymnasiale Oberstufe in NRW diskutiert.
In einem zweiten Teil soll dieser eher theoretische Einblick in die Diskussion um den Sportunterricht in der Oberstufe für die Praxis fruchtbar gemacht werden. Eigene Unterrichtsvorhaben sollen entwickelt und teilweise erprobt werden. Dabei steht die Verknüpfung von Theorie mit Praxis im Mittelpunkt.
